The MEL-House as a representative structure of politics - what sort of narratives does a semi-public building like that divulge of its inner workings? What is accessible and for who? How are certain rules reflected in the architecture? And what types of spaces are revealed for conflict, meeting and mingling? This is a graphic analysis of human existence in user-oriented architecture - striving to symbolically answer questions on the narratives of the building as a political representative space.
A selection of questions that you could find answers to
if you don't know where to start looking / what to look for.
Which spaces are accessible to the public and which ones aren't even perceptible?
How do time-bound narratives influence the architectural perception of the space?
How open and inviting does the building appear to passers-by and how does
that emotion correlate to reality?
What sort of characters can be found using the building and how do their
routes differentiate?
